Thai inspired Turkey Burgers with Caramelized Onions

Last night, I made some dang tasty turkey burgers. I looked for several recipes for a turkey burger and decided to try my own recipe. I got some ideas from recipes but thought to invent my own. They came out amazing. In the past I have had dry and not so flavorful turkey burgers. This one was opposite of that. It was packed with flavors and perfectly moist and cooked to perfection.
Here is the recipe.

1 pound of ground turkey
1 large scallion
1 small red pepper, seeded and cut into chunks
2 Tablespoons of fresh basil or cilantro, I used basil because that's what I had in the house
2 Tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce
1 Teaspoon fresh ginger, I used about an inch thick piece and grated it. (tip, freeze your ginger, it's easier to grate)
1 1/2 tablespoon of fish sauce
1 Tablespoon or more of sriracha
4 scallions sliced
Sea salt to taste

Directions:
Put all ingredients except for ground turkey and scallions in a food processor process until combined.
Pour ingredients on top of ground turkey and add scallions. Mix together and form patties. I made 4 ounce patties.

Grill burgers on stove top grill or outdoor grill until done.

I used whole wheat deli slims for the bun and topped with onions.

Caramelized Onion Recipe:
2 Large Onions
1 Tablespoon of oil (I used coconut but you can use Olive Oil or any oils you have.
1/2 Tablespoon of butter
Sea Salt and Pepper

Slice onions, saute in oil, butter and s&p until tender and translucent. It takes about an hour.

I know the picture quality is terrible but at least its a picture.
